Orforglipron

It has been studied extensively in late-stage clinical trials (the ATTAIN and ACHIEVE programs). As of 2026 it is FDA-approved under the brand name Foundayo for chronic weight management; doses and formulations differ between the approved product and earlier research studies.
Research and the approved product use a once-daily oral tablet taken with or without food, with gradual monthly dose escalation from a low starting dose to reduce gastrointestinal effects; founder protocol references roughly 7-14 mg oral daily, which sits within the approved maintenance range.
Research uses a slow titration over several months, with appetite and weight changes accumulating gradually over the multi-week escalation period rather than appearing immediately.
