Recovery Stack

The Recovery Stack pairs BPC-157 and TB-500 to combine localized and systemic soft-tissue repair signaling; research protocols typically inject BPC-157 daily and TB-500 twice weekly subcutaneously during the loading phase.

Best for

Active adults recovering from soft-tissue injury, post-surgical rehabilitation, or chronic gut concerns who want both localized and systemic repair signaling in a single protocol

How it works

The Recovery Stack pairs BPC-157 and TB-500, the two most-studied recovery peptides, to leverage distinct but complementary repair mechanisms. BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound) is a 15-amino-acid pentadecapeptide derived from a protective protein found in human gastric juice; research suggests it supports angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation in injured tissue), modulates growth factor pathways including FGF and VEGF, and accelerates tendon-to-bone healing in animal models. TB-500 is a synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4, a 43-amino-acid peptide naturally present in nearly every nucleated human cell, where it acts as a major regulator of actin polymerization and cell migration.

The complementary action is the point of the stack: BPC-157 primarily acts at the local injury site to drive tissue regeneration, while TB-500 promotes systemic cellular migration and recruitment of repair cells from distant sites. Originally combined in equine veterinary protocols (where both peptides are used for racing recovery), the stack has expanded into research-context use for human athletes, post-surgical recovery, and chronic gut inflammation. Both peptides have decades of preclinical research; neither is FDA-approved for human use, making this strictly a research-context protocol that should be discussed with a physician familiar with peptide therapy.

In the research literature

Subcutaneous injection. Typically BPC-157 daily and TB-500 2x weekly during the loading phase. Specific dosing varies by injury and physician guidance

What to expect

BPC-157 effects often reported within 2-4 weeks; TB-500 effects develop over 4-8 weeks. Combined protocol typically shows clearest results in the 6-8 week window

Designed as a complete recovery stack. Additional peptides rarely needed for soft-tissue rehab
